Crippen takes his gloves off for Cameron!

Disability Deaths

Crippen’s Deaths cartoon

OK you bastard, it’s ‘gloves off’ time!

The time has come to take the gloves off with my response to the inhuman treatment of disabled people by David Cameron.

What is it with this man. Has he made some sort of pact with the devil? Has he been offered this meteoric rise to power in exchange for a regular supply of disabled souls? And make no bones about it – disabled people ARE dying out there because of his policies!

Or is he so driven by his loyality to his pay masters that even his own personal experience of losing a disabled child can’t halt his savage attacks upon sick and disabled people?

And what about his cronies. It wasn’t so long ago that they were all attacking Labour for holding an attitude towards disabled people as being ‘scroungers’.

Quentin Davis, Conservative MP and spokesman for social security – and under the guidance of William Hague – told us that “those who are disabled should get the support they need to lead a fulfilling life with dignity. I am proud that we in the Conservative party never thought of taking such measures when we were in power.”

No I’m not making this up. It’s all recorded in Hansard if you care to look.

So what the hell is driving Cameron in this apparent complete turn around in Tory policy. And why are the rest of the government supporting him?!

And by the way, I make no apology for the cartoon that accompanies this blog. Some of you may consider it in the worst possible taste and feel that I’ve over stepped the mark here. But as far as I’m concerned Cameron has crossed a line with regard to his total disregard of disabled people, their families and friends and deserves everything he gets!

Colour me angry …

  1. Some time ago I would possibly of thought of using Cameron’s dead disabled son against the father’s politics as a step too far.

Time and circumstances have, sadly, changed, and hardened my views. If Cameron is willing to use naked market forces neo-lib ideology as a driver of policies that kill disabled people, then all means of attacking him are fair game.

    • CaMorons father was also disabled, both his legs were missing and still the bastard penalises the sick and disabled. Despite being multi millionaires they still claimed disability benefits, that is how low CaMoron will stoop .

Very hard-hitting and controversial, however, I think of the
parents of the guy who died recently after an epilepsy attack
brought about by the stress of losing his benefits and I think of their
pain which was clear in the interview on Channel 4 and the apparent lack of compassion shown by this government.
Cameron knows the pain of losing a disabled child and now thanks to him, so do many other families. I would like to know what he has to say to those families and I would like him to meet them and try to justify his actions

  4. Thanks for all of your supportive comments folks. A little while ago I wouldn’t have contemplated using an image of Cameron’s dead disabled son in a cartoon. But times and circumstances have changed and Cameron has shown himself to be a heartless, uncaring bastard who’s policies have led to the deaths of over 25 of our disabled brothers and sisters each week (see link to the news article supporting this figure on my blog).

As far as I’m concerned this man does not deserve any consideration or respect and I will continue to attack him and his corrupt policies with every means at my disposal.

    • I am in total agreement. I am aware of people who have died locally from issues they apparantly didn’t have and lost their benefits. Cameron is immoral and is using the poorest and least empowered as scapegoats in a political blame war where we are just cannon fodder. Cameron is an insult to decency and verging on crimes against humanity. We have just strengthened our cause of violence to include psychological and emotional torture. Arrest Cameron as he is terrorising disabled people

  5. posted by Pete Riches via FaceBook – For a long time I’ve quietly thought to myself that all this vile treatment of disabled people is Cameron’s punishment a: For the NHS not being able to stop his son dying and b: for other sick and disabled people being alive when his son isn’t. I think Cameron needs some serious psychiatry.

  6. There is in fact a FB page that thinks along these same lines Pete. I think it’s called ‘David Cameron needs to undergo a psychiatric assessment!’

  7. I don’t suppose the reason could be that, – alike the majority of politicians, he’s just the usual lying, cheating, principle-void individual, that would sell his father’s feet, if it was necessary to survive in their disgusting world? The latest BBC series of – ‘In the Thick of It.’ – seems to sum up the situation.

bravely done Mr. Crippen! yes until now we have all been fairly restrained on this subject but let’s face it – when you push us down as far as we can go, we have nothing left to loose. He has treated us like dirt with nasty below-the-belt manouvres to kill us, so a little below-the-belt revenge is most definitley in order!

Cameron, callously in the extreme, used his positive experiences of the NHS caring for his disabled son Ivan to lull the population into a false sense of security. The NHS was NEVER safe in Cameron’s hands, & the poor, disabled, unemployed etc don’t deserve to live, in his eyes. The man is an odious monster.

Hard hitting yes, but unfair? No, if anything this does not go far enough to show the essential evil of the man and the policies he is willingly forcing through. I remember a book called, I think, something like The League of Gentlemen in which honest men from military backgrounds who had terminal illnesses were used by the government as well paid assassins on the grounds that they had nothing to lose. Today, returning from pointless wars are many who have little left to lose but who can still be demeaned by the heartless way they are treated once they are no longer able bodied. How long will it be before they put their hard won skills to use and take steps to take the war back to those who have created their disabilities? How long before ordinary people with nothing to lose, all benefits stopped because they also want their dignity intact cross the line from peaceful protest to direct action?
There is a clear precedent for doing so. Only one other political system carefully tried to kill its disabled members and it started with the same, cost driven propoganda and hate filled rhetoric. Any comparison with the nazis is odious but, when the evidence is there the matter is not one of comparison but of recognition. Must we too say “Never again” and start the fight to the last of us so that future generations do not suffer as we are doing? Unfortunately, when our government is led by a man who will use the death of his son for political gain while killing others just like him the answers to all of these questions seems to be a resounding YES!
Keep up the good work Crippen and don’t let us forget the evil at the heart of these cruel policies.

I am a 48 year old man with disabilities. I have a stable family life and people who care about me. I have the security of my wife having a good job. I can not for the life of me begin imagine what some disabled people living on their own must be going through!
I have had the ATOS assessment and been put in the support group ‘one of the lucky ones’ but i have heard of people being put in the WRAG who are as disabled as me. It absolutely bloody stinks.
Blair has the blood of troops on his hands and this bastard has the blood of the sick, elderly and disabled dripping from every pore of his slimy cold blooded being!
